Hip and Back Pain - Say Goodbye!

9/9/2011

This is a followup to a previous Blog post "Hip Pain Greatly Reduced" from June 2011.  It's now September 2011.  This client with hip and back pain returned from her orthopedic doctor.  In January the doctor had scheduled her to return for xrays in August in preparation of one or two hip replacements.  She attended the appointment to show him how much better she is and DECLINED the xrays.  She's not getting hip replacements since the pain in her hips and back are now gone.

She learned many new things about her body including wear and tear, degradation of joints WILL occur if the body can not bear weight equally front to back and side to side --if the ankles, knees, hips, shoulders are not aligned, the pelvis and spine are out of position and loss of range of motion .  She learned how to maintain her new vertical and horizontal alignment and stay out of pain.

Watch the video testimonial and hear her tell about her experience with The Posture Clinic and The Egoscue Method.  /testimonials.html

Hip Pain Greatly Reduced

Here's the latest progress report from a client who has had severe pain in her hip when walking.  She started Posture Alignment Therapy April 11, 2011.

"On Memorial Day (May 30, 2011) I walked over a mile on the beach and my hip pain was at least half less than what it has been in the past.  That is wonderful!  I tried to keep the same pace of walking and I really didn't have to stop at all.  That 's wonderful news as far as I'm concerned.  Also, my husband was telling me I am not walking like I used to. I used to walk throwing my right hip forward and he said I'm not doing that anymore."   B.A.

This is what happens when the load bearing joints return to their proper alignment and function and the pelvis and spine start to flex, extend, rotate, and move in/outward- the way they were originally designed.  When this woman entered the clinic 6 weeks ago, her hips, pelvis and spine were extremely immobile.  Today, she's out walking and moving much more freely than before.  The exciting part is she's not done with the alignment process!  Great job B.A.!!
