You Only Have 4 on Each Side
Got a bum knee? Got an ankle that is weak, wobbly undependable? Got a shoulder that can't operate fully-doesn't allow you to lift it to or above shoulder height? Maybe it's frozen. Got a hip that is too tight or painful or just plain weak?
You only have FOUR primary LOAD BEARING joints on each side that hold the weight of your entire body. A right and left ankle joint, knee joint, hip and shoulder joint.
Do you weigh 100 or 150 or 185 or 210? All that weight is held by your muscles (tendons/ligaments) and bones and PRIMARILY by your 8 load bearing joints.
If you have ONE joint, JUST ONE, that does not move well or you avoid using it fully for whatever reason, you have 25% LESS function on that side of your body.
If you have TWO joints, TWO that do not function completely or at all due to pain, restriction etc, then you guessed it, you have 50% LESS function on that side of your body.
25% is a lot, but 50% is a lot for your body to manage and cope with. Got more than two problematic joints?
Don't mess around. Find the REAL underlying cause of the problem and the real solution ASAP. Remember, stenosis is a callous, arthritis is merely the result of irritation and friction, swelling like a Baker's Cyst or edema is the body's way of trying to save itself.
